Nothing says “outdoor autumn wedding” better than a celebration that incorporates the elements of nature that symbolize the season. And that includes the use of leaves in yellow, orange, and brown color in your wedding details. Foliage of such shades makes for great accents from your invitation to the table setting. Here are some suggestions on how you can integrate brown, orange, and yellow leaves to your wedding:
Stationery – For your invites, save-the-dates, and thank-you cards, look for a design with orange and yellow leaves. You can opt for one that has a leaf design on the border or an invitation with falling leaves on the background, alluding to your wedding venue. You can also try to DIY — do it yourself. Buy cardstock and skeleton leaves and assemble it however you wish. Or, if you don’t want to buy skeleton leaves, you can use dried leaves and stick them on the paper.
Aisle runner – Instead of the usual flower petals, use yellow, orange, and brown leaves for the border. Or, since dried leaves are abundant this season, use them to create swirly, decorative patterns on the ground to serve as the aisle.
Flowers – The bride’s bouquet may consist of white flowers surrounded by red berries and brown dried leaves. The same combination can be utilized for the bridesmaids’ bouquets and the groom’s boutonniere.
